To help with over-all costs a man-made slate was used to replace the 100+ year old original roof.

The challenge here was using a cheaper slate provided to us by the builder. Slates will provide a durable, sturdy and aesthetic roof. But when the cheaper slate has less uniforming qualities it becomes a challenge to create a roof pleasing to the eye.
With our highly skilled slaters we can make these types of slates look beautiful regardless.
